Overview:
This role will create a welcoming and efficient workplace while supporting employees throughout their journey with the company. It involves managing daily office operations, improving internal communications, and owning employee engagement initiatives from beginning to end. You'll also provide essential, ad-hoc support to the People Team.
Location: We offer a flexible Hybrid schedule with WFH on Monday & Friday's and in office Tuesday - Thursday at our Scottsdale, AZ office.
Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 /yr
Employee Lifecycle Management
You will support employees throughout their entire journey with the company. This includes:
- Recruiting & Onboarding: Manage the full recruitment pipeline from job posting to offer. You'll coordinate and screen candidates, schedule interviews, and oversee the onboarding process, including I-9 documentation and 30/60/90-day new hire check-ins.
- Employee Support: Serve as a key point of contact for employees by gathering feedback, managing the HR inbox and handling requests like employment verification and unemployment claims.
- Off boarding & Termination: Execute a seamless offboarding process, including conducting exit interviews and processing all necessary terminations and paperwork, including using Rippling for administrative tasks.
Office & Internal Operations
You'll manage the day-to-day operations of the office and all internal communications. This involves:
- Office Management: Oversee all daily office functions, including managing vendors, mail, catering, and the office budget. You'll be responsible for ordering and stocking all necessary supplies.
- Internal Communications: Own and manage all internal company messaging. You'll maintain the company's internal hub and develop a monthly newsletter to share key updates, events, and holidays.
Culture & Engagement
You'll play a vital role in fostering a positive and engaging company culture. This includes:
- Event Planning: Plan and execute engagement activities such as happy hours and offsite events.
- Recognition Programs: Manage the "Values in Action" program, streamlining the nomination process and handling weekly birthday and monthly anniversary shout-outs to celebrate employee milestones.
People Operations & HR Administration
You will handle a variety of administrative and analytical tasks to ensure smooth People Operations. This includes:
- Data & Reporting: Run and analyze people analytics reports to inform HR strategy and provide insights on key trends.
- Benefits & Leave Management: Assist with benefits administration and manage all aspects of employee leave of absences.
- HR Support: Provide broad administrative support across all People Operations functions.
Requirements
Who You Are
You are a proactive self-starter with a passion for creating a positive work environment. You have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and can manage multiple tasks at once. You are a strong communicator who can work effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
- 3-5+ years of experience in office management, People OPs, HR, or similar roles.
- Proven ability to manage office operations and budgets.
- Experience planning and executing employee events and programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with HR processes and providing generalist support.
