Position Overview

SyntheticFi is growing at an extraordinary 50%+ MoM over the past year, powered by a product that financial advisors already view as a true differentiator for their practice, helping them retain AUM and win new clients. With a proven product and strong inbound demand, we’re now at an inflection point. This is a rare opportunity to join a sales team that will define an entire wealthtech category.

We are seeking a Vice President of Sales to join our sales team. In this role, you’ll have a direct hand in shaping SyntheticFi’s strategy and culture while scaling our sales organization. You will report directly to Joseph Wang, cofounder and CRO, and design the playbook and lead the team that drives SyntheticFi’s expansion nationwide.

As the VP of Sales, you will:

  • Distribute SyntheticFi’s products to financial advisors and decision makers in other financial intermediaries across the country. Harness our strong momentum to accelerate adoption and growth.
  • Deepen trusted relationships with top accounts and strategic partners.
  • Serve as a key liaison between advisors and our internal teams, ensuring product and content continue to reflect real-world client needs.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of sales experience in the RIA industry in client-facing roles, with a focus on new client acquisition. This experience could come from wholesaling, advisor-tech sales, or other RIA-focused products.
  • Successful track record in building relationships with RIAs and other financial intermediaries. This includes experience gained in internal or external sales roles.
  • Self-starters who are excited to build their own process and book to hit sales quota.
  • Builders who are eager to contribute to continuous product and content development.
  • Understanding of financial fundamentals, especially in derivative strategies.
  • Preferred: CFA, CFP, or CPA holders, or a degree in finance.

Compensation

We care about talent, and we show it. SyntheticFi offers a top-tier compensation package that aims for 350K+ first-year on-target compensation, with meaningful options upside.

  • Base Salary: $100,000 - $175,000
  • On-Target Commission: $200,000+, no cap.
  • Stock option compensation: 0.25-0.75%.
